A year has passed.....................well. Shall buck up next year! Holidays have been long, very long. been slacking around and having fun....sleeping late and having bad habits. Need to start converting back! Oh ya sad thing is my gpa is low...very low, dad seems unhappy yet encouraging, mum thinks it's alright! Okay new year, new start. Everything would be positive like always.

Rewarding myself for all the effort i have put in for interior design......I shall continue my slacking till next week. ha ha. As much as I convince myself that I have did my best, it seems that concentration should be the important factor i should learn now. Okay.................AHAHAHAHA bye.

I can feel the phlegm.

So let's start with mood box.
Did lots of sketches and stuff. Oh ya, my designer is ..
Paul Jackson Pollock.
He had a short life though, though he has fame but he became too stressed up, leading to an alcoholic then into a car crash & yeah. Putting this aside, his movement is abstract expressionist. He is called "the drip-per" as he drips paint all over his canvases from one end to another, filling up every spaces of the canvas. How he work? He simply danced across his canvas and move freely with the flow to create his masterpiece. Okay his colors usage are normally vibrant until he went into a state of depression so he used darker colors(?) There's one monochrome painting though. So! Based on this whole chunk of information my concept on the mood box are colors, spontaneously & seeing things differently.

okay so this was my mock-up model. i think the imitation of the dripping is sort of cool, i added strips of blue & yellow to add on to the flow plus spontaneous but i guess i failed on that. and yup, the mosaic mirrors are to represent the different perspective of seeing things cause it's sort of distorted. and the 3D aluminium stuffs are the frozen drips. yup, i know it ain't acceptable! so up next,

i know this is much much much better! though a pity that the 3D drips should be more intense and longer but due to time constraint, gee time is not enough! okay sound like excuses but oh well, i like the effect though, i can do better next time ya?
followed on to the big headache, the shop house model! this time round i can't apply the concept of colors into the shop house as it would be too crazy too colorful. yup so luckily my lecturer brainstorm with me and found his only monochrome painting, number 14.

my study model trying to extract from the painting, and yah it was too messy and so i simplified it by using the platforms taken from the spaces between the threads. the contrast is with the string vs. threads. and my shop house model,

yup! to be continued..

dear did,

thanks to the comments regardless negative or positive.

so about the tiles,
i tried to draw every tiles the same patterns but it just failed! so some is too big, some is too
small.so i to make it nicer, i decided to use painty marker to create a glossy effect (:

trying to sort out the colours, i think it's getting into shape.

i think the colours matches well though,
purple, red, yellow, who knows it could match.

TADAH, impressed..not. i'm still now satisfied with the shapes,
not really symmetrical. darn! should have be more careful
but what done can't be undone so, clap*

the pictorial of the small clay man walking in the space.

Rendering (two point perspective)
the markers are seriously too cheap until we must share cost. ha!

rendering is tiring. but i think it's super cool seriously. markers can do such a big wonder is impressive! sounds crappy but i really do think so okay.

400mm x 400mm x 400mm
(that's my impression of this model) that big, that hard to bring.
wonder how can i bring it to school if i bring it home?!?!?!

making the cube up! (y'know i thought it's damn easy but no no no! it isn't AT ALL. there's nothing to make the timber sticks stay, NOTHING. ha ha! i tried like super glue, wood glue, silicon or whatever glue then back to wood glue but no avail, it just doesn't stay. super depressing. but but class-mates were super nice (: helped me hammer! though it's a bit crooked however effort appreciated)

PATIENCE is the key, super cool. just wait wait and wait.

yes this is what we do for the past few weeks, cut, bend & fix acrylic together! work-shop = eating dust is important every single day. so yes my difficulties was that i wasn't up to the bending standard, but due to some help & lessons i managed to master myself.
independence is important !

chlorofoam (whatever the spelling is) came in handy! plus uhu glue. this combination is seriously like my mouth to my face. well is just very sturdy. we were supposed to follow the tesellation however you will find that u've to add things on to create a larger improvised space so what comes into our mind we just do!
(to be continued)

cubes craze

Before, i built a chair & table some more! ha ha. a little dumb.

seriously i think i improved (: it looks kinda dynamic. maybe not really,
but at least i improved
right?!

 ontography exercise!

first, messy and not nice at all.

2nd, neater but too spread out.

3rd, as usual messy.

4th, i think it's nice (:

5th, not bad too! i think i improved.

3D drawing, though plain bt still okay!
ther's one more, bt i passed it up. it's nice and related to the next..

tessellation exercise!

1st 15x15

2nd 15x15

3rd 15x15

this three are chosen from the nicest ontongraphy.
then we are supposed to trace 10x10 and create a tesellation!

10x10

trace it out /zap and fix it together!

the first one.

second one.

third, nice (:

then i traced it onto an a1 paper!
then we are supposed to colour it with four colours,
colour it with tones between white to black,
& draw patterns in it.

colours (:

colour tones (:

& last one i passed it up! so yes. that's all for half of this week.

Russian doll.

drafting, what to make is easy but building it is not that easy as it seem to be D:
.: i made a poem out! about a magician going to town & etc.

my paper marche, the first one (the magician)

my second, (a monster) using two paper cups.
the third (a present) is also a paper cup.
the last one is a rubbish bin.

wired up.

sphere, i think it's quite easy comparing to the bottom ones.

pyramid. my hands swell like crazy. very hard to join it up.

cube. i can't make the shape right & measurement so kept on doing.
idk but the hardest to me.

drafting the combination. hands were swollen so i tried to keep it simple.

the model ! very simple but took sometime.

outline of it. though simple but i tried right?

no more playing of pp

The Ping Pong Ball(s).

40 of them. It was quite an enjoyable thing to do except for the smudging of the colours (:
it's interesting to interpret emotions on such a small & round thing like a pingpongball.

surprise start
[info]ilovethe_cow

Brickboy.

first up is by drafting,
this is the third drawing i come up to!

then it was building up the model.
so this is my half painted pucca model (:
